WEDDINGS · RECEPTIONS · PLANNER COLLABORATION

A dance floor designed around your wedding

Your dance floor is more than a place to stand for the first dance. It sets the center of the reception, gives guests a natural gathering point and changes how the room photographs. Columbus Dance Floor Co. helps couples, planners and venue teams choose a look and footprint that fit the celebration rather than forcing the reception around a rental.

We serve weddings across Ohio from Columbus, with Black & White, White & Natural Wood, All White, LED and custom-wrap options. Every request is reviewed against the event date, current stock and site details; availability is confirmed only through a proposal, not assumed from a website request.

Columbus-based. Serving Ohio by proposal. Current inventory and date availability require confirmation.

Start with the reception you want to create

Choose the visual direction first, then test it against the room. Black & White brings crisp contrast; White & Natural Wood can soften a space; All White keeps the focus on the couple and surrounding design; LED adds a more energetic after-dark cue; and a custom wrap can carry a monogram, pattern or wedding palette when the artwork is ready.

The right footprint depends on more than guest count. Consider the head table, DJ or band position, buffet and bar traffic, photography sightlines, accessibility, and whether dinner and dancing share one room. A planner or venue floor plan is useful at the estimate stage, especially when the floor must sit beneath draping or near fixed furniture.

A clear path from estimate to proposal

Send the wedding date, venue or site location, reception timing, preferred floor style and any floor-plan details you have. The team can use that starting information to discuss a practical size and identify questions before preparing a proposal. All panels are 3 by 3 feet, with standard square footprints and larger LED options when appropriate.

The final proposal confirms the selected floor, event-date and stock review, delivery and site-installation scope, and any applicable extras. Custom wraps are quoted separately by square foot, and All White is quote-only. Delivery, installation, access, teardown and venue requirements are not presented as blanket free or all-in services; they are confirmed for your site in the final quote.

Coordinate the details before guests arrive

Share the venue’s load-in window, access route, surface information, doors or elevators, and the contact who can approve placement. If the floor plan changes, tell us before the event so the proposal can be revisited. For wraps, send artwork specifications and allow time for the design and production conversation.

On the wedding day, the installation sequence should work around other vendors and the room’s turnover. Your proposal is the working reference for placement and scope. Final timing, access, setup and removal details remain subject to confirmation with the venue, planner and Columbus Dance Floor Co.

Estimate your floor

HELPFUL DETAILS

Before you book.

How early should we request a wedding dance floor?

Reach out once your date and venue are reasonably settled. Early notice gives the team time to review the date, current stock, floor plan, access and any custom-wrap artwork. A request starts the conversation; it does not guarantee availability until a proposal confirms it.

Can you help us choose the floor size?

Yes. Share your guest count, reception layout, dance priorities and venue constraints. The team can discuss a practical footprint using the room plan and the available 3-by-3-foot panels, while the final selection remains subject to site and proposal confirmation.

Can a custom wrap match our wedding design?

Custom wraps can support a monogram, pattern or wedding palette when the artwork and production details are workable. The wrap is an extra charge calculated by square foot, and design, timing and installation details are confirmed in the proposal.

What does the wedding rental quote include?

The final quote identifies the selected floor and the delivery, site-installation, access, timing and removal scope for your event. Those details vary by venue and site, so they are confirmed in the proposal rather than promised as universally free or all-inclusive.
